Shimano Twin Power

Twin Power XD - Reel designed for "rough" conditions: salt water, wind, dust and more. The increased strength of the Hagane gear will withstand any external impact. The Hagane body with its advanced G-free design will provide exceptional protection and durability while the reel remains comfortable and ergonomic. X Protect will prevent water from entering critical parts of the reel. A durable carbon fiber brake will make it easier to fight fish. With X-Ship, line wrapping is easier and more efficient, even under heavy load, and Aerowrap will wrap it perfectly.

     Hagane Gear – extremely robust drive gear;
     X-Ship gear pull system;
     Hagane Body - a metal body that is even stronger. The strength of the body is one of the most important factors in the durability of the reel;
     MGL Rotor – the most perfect, asymmetric rotor shape, which allows to reduce the rotational inertia by 14% and obtain the smoothest reel operation;
     X-Protect – increased protection against water and corrosion;
     G-Free Body – reel weight distribution system, moving the center of gravity closer to the rod;
     ARC Spool - patented special angle drum edge for less line tangling and longer casting;
     Rigid Suport Drag – a special system that prevents the drum from wobbling even when the friction brake is tightened very weakly;
     S ARB – 9+1 top quality bearings with increased protection;
     One Piece Bail - one piece bail wizard.
