Daiwa J-Braid Expedition X8 Dark Green

The new J-Braid Expedition is the latest addition to the popular J-Braid braided line series.

This line is made using the same Izanas fiber construction that made the J-Braid series so popular. However, DAIWA has now added Silicon Coating PE technology, which gives the line a smoother surface, a more uniform braid, and hydrophobic properties that enhance durability and improve sensitivity.

Thanks to its silicone coating, the J-Braid Expedition does not absorb water—meaning it also resists absorbing silt and debris from the water, which are the main causes of rapid line wear.

The benefits don’t stop there. The J-Braid Expedition is made of an exceptionally high number of fine braids, making it stronger than most lines on the market. It also features a perfectly round profile that holds knots exceptionally well. Made in Japan.
