Xesta Black Star Hard

Xesta Black Star Hard – designed for targeting sea bass (groupers) in the rocky inshore waters of Japan, where fish often have to be forced away from various underwater obstacles. For this reason, every rod in this series features exceptional power reserves, somewhat reminiscent of American bass rods, yet still retaining the Japanese subtlety in design and craftsmanship. This is a casting rod which, in our opinion, is ideally suited for pelagic fishing for zander and pike using live sonars, especially with medium-sized soft lures. It is also a viable option for twitching small crankbaits or jerkbaits.
