AKARA Ice Jig Compact 70cm 15-28g

Akara Ice Jig Compact – a highly versatile rod with an integrated tip-section. The handle is made of EVA material, and the reel seat is held by plastic rings. It’s a two-piece rod for easier transport, with a folded length of 38 cm. The rod’s backbone is stiff enough to set the hook easily, while the tip section is soft, so every bite is clearly visible. Because the tip is integrated, the line won’t snag on protruding parts while fishing. The rod is fitted with large-diameter guides. The tip section also has large guides, so there’s no need to frequently clean off ice build-up on colder winter days. The blank of the second section is flat and tapers toward the end. Perfect for fishing with spoons, jigs, and small swivels. With the right tip stiffness, this rod can also be used as a winter feeder rod or for catching smelt.
