Shimano Ultegra FD 1000

Shimano Ultegra FD is a high-end spinning reel designed for anglers seeking exceptional power, smooth operation, and maximum reliability—whether fishing in freshwater or saltwater. This reel features technologies that were previously found only in Shimano’s top-tier models. Thanks to SilentDrive and the MicroModule II gear system, the reel operates with outstanding quietness and smoothness, delivering a highly refined rotational feel. The addition of InfinityXross increases the gear contact surface for enhanced durability, while InfinityDrive reduces friction and provides extra cranking power when fighting strong fish. The reel is equipped with corrosion-resistant S A-RB bearings and X-Protect technology, which effectively channels water away from critical internal components—making it ideal for saltwater use. The Anti-Twist Fin located beneath the line roller helps maintain consistent line tension and ensures precise line lay on the spool. When hooked into a fish, the Cross Carbon Drag system comes into play—offering powerful, smooth, and highly precise drag performance, allowing you to stay in control even against aggressive predators. This reel is an excellent choice for targeting perch, zander, and trout, as well as more demanding fishing for pike, asp, or even inshore saltwater species.

Overall, Shimano Ultegra is an ideal option for anglers looking for high quality, durability, and professional-level performance at an accessible price.
